Electron Sword
So, you want to lop your arm off, and a regular sword just isn't good enough for you. You're looking for something that hums with pure energy, something that'll cut steel as well as flesh. You're looking for something that's dangerous to even look at. You're looking for the Electron Sword. Dangerous enough for us to enforce a certain level of training just to use it, this thing creates a powerful, minutely accurate electromagnetic field to channel electrons into the form of a blade. In case it's not completely obvious, that also means this thing doesn't actually block items - it destroys them. Using this beast to parry is not a good idea. …Ever.

Additional Details

  • Each quick slash of the blade
  • Really. Damn. Cool.
  • Makes swishy buzzy energy sounds.
  • Cuts stuff - though some things cut slowly
  • Doesn't cut all stuff - some materials are immune
  • Does not block things
  • Will short out if you overuse it and need to fully recharge before functioning again
  • Each quick cut drains about 25% of the power
  • Recharges about 50% of the max power post-turn
  • Longer, sustained cuts drain the power much more rapidly, as do thicker items or materials
  • Slicing a hole in a door probably isn't going to work without shorting out your blade
  • WILL CUT OFF YOUR ARMS AND IGNITE FLAMMABLE MATERIALS
  • Awesome against light armor
  • Usually good against heavy armor, but will drain double the power
